HCFD's Arnold named to state Firefighter Standards & Training Council

ATLANTA - Lt. Governor Casey Cagle has appointed Capt. Mark Arnold of the Hall County Fire Department to the Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training Council.<br />

According to the state's Website, the council provides certification standards for all firefighters, fire inspectors, fire investigators and fire & life safety educators in Georgia.<br />
<br />
Capt. Arnold began his career with Hall County Fire Services in March of 1988. He has worked his way through the ranks holding several positions including Training Instructor. He now holds the rank of Battalion Captain overseeing the operation of seven fire stations and 50 personnel. <br />
<br />
Fire Chief Jeff Hood said "this appointment speaks very highly of Capt. Arnold and the men and women of the Hall County Fire Services."<br />
<br />
"It's an honor to be appointed by Lt. Governor Cagle and I am ready to represent Hall County and fulfill my duties on the Georgia Firefighter Standards & Training Council," Arnold said. <br />
<br />
Cagle also has named Chief Randy Camp of the Walker County Fire Department to the council.
