Murrayville businesswoman dies

MURRAYVILLE - A woman who was a part of the Murrayille business community starting in the 1950s has died.<br />
<br />
Gloria Mae Poore Kemp passed away Thursday at her residence following a period of declining health. She was 83.<br />
<br />
Kemp was well known in the Murrayville area for her many business ventures which began with a general store and through the years also included the Silver Moon Café, Murrayville's first fast food restaurant (known as the Murray Burger), the Village Pantry (a convenience store) and the Village Flea Market.<br />
<br />
The funeral will be held at 2:00 Monday in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home.<br />
