Girls basketball: West Hall rallies past Chestatee

OAKWOOD -- West Hall outscored Chestatee 18-9 in the fourth quarter to rally for a 51-49 win Saturday at the West Hall gym.<br /> <br /> The Lady Spartans (7-10) snapped a two-game losing streak with the victory. Chestatee (11-9) has dropped two straight on consecutive nights.<br /> <br /> West Hall led 8-3 early but trailed 24-22 at halftime after the Lady War Eagles used a 21-14 period to take the lead. Chestatee increased its lead to 40-33 heading into the fourth quarter.<br /> <br /> Tyler Bennett paced Chestatee with 17 points. Kayla Watson added 15 points for the Lady War Eagles.<br /> <br /> Chestatee next will travel to Buford on Tuesday in a key Region 8-AAAA battle.<br /> <br /> West Hall will play host to Franklin County in a Region 7-AAA contest.
