Boys basketball: Huge 2nd half propels North Hall past Jefferson

GAINESVILLE -- North Hall outscored Jefferson 34-9 in the third quarter and then pulled away in the fourth quarter to take a 65-52 win at home on Saturday.<br /> <br /> Jefferson (4-11) jumped out to a quick 13-3 lead after the first quarter and pushed its lead to 28-14 by halftime. It was all North Hall (9-7) after that.<br /> <br /> The big third quarter gave the Trojans a 47-37 lead heading into the fourth quarter. The put it away outscoring the Dragons 18-15 in the final period.<br /> <br /> Carson Heinen led North Hall with 19 points. Sam Jackson added 13 points and Brock Wingo 11 for the Trojans.<br /> <br /> Kendrick Robinson paced Jefferson with 16 points. Hunter Thompson had 11 points for the Dragons.
