Plans set for annual Gainesville MLK march, program

GAINESVILLE - Plans are set for the 45th Annual Martin Luther King Day march and program in Gainesville.<br /> <br /> The march will begin at 1:00 Monday, January 19, from the SunTrust parking lot on E.E. Butler Parkway and make its way to Fair Street International Baccalaureate School where the King Holiday Observance Program will be held at 2:00. The featured speaker will be Rev. Stephen P. Samuel, Senior Pastor, St. John Baptist Church, Gainesville.<br /> <br /> The theme of this year's observance is "Fulfilling Our Dreams with Community and Children in Mind." <br /> <br /> The march and rally have been sponsored every year since 1970 by the Newtown Florist Club.
