142-acre annexation on the table in Flowery Branch

FLOWERY BRANCH - Flowery Branch is being asked to annex nearly 142 acres by a developer who has plans for a business park in the city.<br /> <br /> Barry Conner is scheduled to go before the city council on Oct. 2 at 6:00 with his request.<br /> <br /> Flowery Branch Community Development Director John McHenry says there are six parcels involved - two (already in the city) for rezoning and four for annexation and rezoning. Total acreage is 179.98. All of the parcels for which annexation, in addition to rezoning, is being requested are in unincorporated Hall County.<br /> <br /> "The parcels can be found in the area bordered by I-985, Wade Orr Road, Atlanta Highway and Mulberry Street," McHenry said.
