Kroger ready to hire 2,000 in Atlanta division

UNDATED - Kroger, the nation's largest grocery operator, said it needs to hire at least 2,000 employees for its Atlanta Division stores.<br /> <br /> According to an article in Wednesday's Atlanta Business Chronicle, all of the positions are permanent.<br /> <br /> Kroger is building new stores in Atlanta, including one that is 82,000-square-feet across from Lindbergh City Center.<br /> <br /> Currently, 28,000 employees work in the Atlanta Division's 185 stores; those stores are located in Georgia, South Carolina and east Alabama.<br />
