Congressional candidate to pedal into Hall County next week

GAINESVILLE - The The Democratic candidate for the 9th District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, Dr. David Vogel, will be in Hall County Wednesday and Thursday as part of his 500-mile bicycle tour of the district. Hall will be the eighth county in the 72-year-old Vogel's 20-county tour as he works his way toward the north Georgia mountains. <br />

Along the way, he is passing out cards that ask voters to go to www.votevogel.org and watch an 11-minute video before they decide how to vote. <br />

Vogel's first Hall County stop will be at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday at the Marathon Station, corner of Hwy 129 and Roy Parks Rd. At 1:45, he will stop at Fire Station #1 on Hwy 129. At 2:30, he will be at the Quick Trip at Hwy 129 and Ridge Rd., 3:00 at the Downtown Square in Gainesville, and finally 3:45 at the Lakeshore Mall. <br />

On Thursday morning, he will continue to tour Hall County. At 9:30, he will stop at Lowe's parking lot on Shallowford Rd. and at 10:00 at the Texas Roadhouse on Dawsonville Hwy at McEver Rd. H is last stop in Hall County will be at 11:00 at the BP Station on Dawsonville Hwy near Sardis Rd.
