Gainesville and North Gwinnett stayed in their respective top 10s, while Jefferson and Buford maintained their spots in the latest Georgia Sports Writers Association Prep Football Poll, released Tuesday.<br />

The Red Elephants (0-1) fell from sixth to 10th in Class AAAAA after a 39-0 loss to Class AAAAAA No. 8 Grayson. Gainesville has a night off this Friday before playing host to Winder-Barrow on Sept. 12.<br />

The Bulldogs (1-1), meanwhile, dropped from second to ninth in Class AAAAAA following a 36-29 defeat to North Cobb last week. North Gwinnett travels to take on Hillgrove (2-0) this Friday.<br />

Meanwhile, Buford remained atop the Class AAAA rankings after a 56-0 defeat of Berkmar last week. The Wolves (2-0) will play host to Class AAAAAA No. 6 McEachern (1-0) this Friday in a game broadcast live on WDUN AM 550.<br />
<br />
And, in Class AAA, Jefferson held at No. 5 following a 41-7 win over Winder-Barrow on Friday. The Dragons (2-0) will travel to face North Hall (0-0) this Friday in the Trojans' season-opener, a game played live on WDUN 102.9 FM.<br />
