We're baaaaaaack, and so is high school football.

Welcome to "Week Zero" of the GHSA football season, and Friday Game Night is here to get you ready for every snap, tackle, pass, hand-off and stiff-arm of the 2014 campaign.

Today we launch our 2014 preview and re-set Access North Georgia's Friday Game Night section -- including previews of 30 area teams, video interviews with coaches, schedules -- both kickoff and broadcast -- region line-ups... basically the ins and outs of everything high school football in northeast Georgia.

Come on inside and read about your team -- and the foes your team will face this season.

Find out how many starters your favorite squad has returning, read about the new coach, or find out how the old staff has changed things up. Learn about how the regions you once knew have changed -- and what that means for the playoff races that will heat up in the weeks to come.

While you're here take a chance to learn about the new quarterbacks that will be shaping football in the area -- gone are players like Deshaun Watson, Andrew Smith, Jackson McDonald, Wes Holcombe, Hayden Sphire and Zach English. Who replace them, and what returning signal callers are set to make the most of their moment in the sun.

As many new quarterbacks will be pulling the strings this season, almost as many new coaches will be making the calls on the sidelines. There are eight this season, following a trend of change within northeast Georgia. Read on to learn all about those eight, the changes of the last two years and some of veterans still leading their programs.

Change has also become the new constant in region line-ups. And after two years (sometimes more) of building rivalries and growing accustomed to schedules, there will be a number of new foes and regions to get used to again in 2014. Read on here for a look at your team's region, and how that region is shaping.

You can also click here to see what a number of area coaches had to say about the upcoming campaign and their programs.

It's a brave new 2014, and we're going to be here for every step of it, starting with week zero, which will feature contests for eight of the 30 teams we cover. Be sure to check in with Friday Game NIght every day -- not just Fridays -- as we bring you in-depth coverage of prep football, including game stories, videos, features, awards and all the action that will make up the latest campaign.

Also, be sure to follow us on twitter -- @FridayGameNight -- for live Friday score updates, as well as other information throughout the week. We'll also continue to update our live scoreboard on Friday Game Night each week.

The next few months should bring us the type of action we've longed for all summer -- and we can't wait to get playing.

See you on the gridiron.
White County's Maurice Sutton, right, runs out of a diving tackle from Gainesville's Chris Byrd during the two teams' scrimmage on Friday in Cleveland. Read about both squads in our 2014 Friday Game Night preview, live now on Access North Georgia. /
