RABBITTOWN -- The Flowery Branch volleyball team halted East Hall's seven-game win streak on Tuesday night in a tri-match in Rabbittown.<br />

The Lady Falcons fell in the opening set 26-24 but bounced back to take two sets and the victory, 25-13, 25-22. Katie Hall led Flowery Branch with three kills and five aces in the win -- one of three on the night for the Lady Falcons, who also defeated Gilmer and Jackson County in the quad-match.<br />

Flowery Branch edged Gilmer 25-22, 19-25, 25-22, led by nine kills from Erin McClung and 15 assists from Whitney Coles. The Lady Falcons then swatted Jackson County 25-11, 25-20, featuring six aces from Hall, four kills for McClung and four aces from Coles.<br />

The Lady Vikings (7-1), meanwhile, opened the night by with a 25-11, 25-23 win over Jackson County and then beat Gilmer County 25-14, 25-7. <br />

Allyson Segars had 24 points on serve with 12 aces, 11 kills, and 15 digs. Jessica Chmiel added six aces, six kills, two blocks and five digs, Minette Maldonado had had four aces, seven kills and 10 digs, and Ashleigh Burnett scored had seven aces, six kills and 13 digs for East Hall.<br />

Emily Roberts had 16 kills, Savannah Lindsey had 33 digs, Cassida Shockley had 17 points on serve with 10 aces to go with 30 assists for the Lady Vikings.
