Jury seated for Gainesville murder trial

GAINESVILLE - Jury selection has been completed in Hall County Superior Court for the murder trial of Joseph Scott Williams.<br /> <br /> Williams is accused in the June, 2013, shooting death of Adrian Thompson outside Pepper's Grocery store on E.E. Butler Parkway in Gainesville.<br /> <br /> In addition to the murder charge, the 32-year-old Williams faces charges of possession of a gun during the commission of a crime and possession of a gun by a convicted felon. <br /> <br /> Jury selection, which got underway Monday, was completed on Tuesday, according to Court Administrator Reggie Forrester. <br /> <br /> Testimony is scheduled to begin next Monday.<br /> <br /> (Other members of the AccessNorthGa.com staff contributed to this story.)
