NGPG doctor 1st in region to perform single-site robotic-assisted hysterectomies

GAINESVILLE - Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Lakeside OB/GYN's Jason Bailey is among the first physicians in Georgia to perform single-site hysterectomies using the da Vinci Surgical System. <br /> <br /> The new procedure is performed through a small incision with virtually no scarring. <br /> <br /> Dr. Bailey is the only gynecological surgeon in northeast Georgia trained to perform the new procedure which offers several advantages for hysterectomy patients.<br /> <br /> He performs the surgery at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) in Gainesville, a part of the Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS).
