RMA cadet selected as Ga. Certificate of Merit Winner

GAINESVILLE - During his first semester taking English language classes at Riverside Military Academy (RMA), junior Zhichen Yan has been selected by the University of Georgia as a Class of 2015 Georgia Certificate of Merit winner.<br /> <br /> Cadet Sergeant (C/SGT) Yan, a native of Changchun, China, was nominated by RMA as a candidate for this honor. Based on his current rank in the top five percent of his class, C/SGT Yan joins an elite group of approximately 5,000 juniors chosen to receive this state award. He is an international boarding cadet from China and a member of Hotel Company at Riverside.<br /> <br /> "This is a big accomplishment for anyone, especially for an ESL student that has been here for less than 6 months
