"The award recognizes that Will has 'demonstrated a concern for educational excellence, instilled a love of learning, and setting the character and quality of education in the early school years,'" Gainesville Schools Supt. Merrianne Dyer said.
"Will's use of innovative technology and the IB program was also cited as a selection criteria."
Campbell will be recognized at the Summer GAEL Conference in July in Jekyll Island, and will receive the award at the GAESP Fall Conference in November.
