NGMC employees & CEO lend support to United Way's Read-Learn-Succeed Initiative

GAINESVILLE - In honor of Celebrate Literacy Day, Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) President and CEO Carol Burrell and Clifford the Big Red Dog visited NGMC's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to read to NICU patient Levi Dale. NGMC supports United Way's Read-Learn-Succeed Initiative, which promotes reading aloud to children as young as prenatal to five years old.<br /> <br /> NGMC also held an employee book drive, collecting more than 500 gently used books for United Way to distribute.
