The trial of Mark Antonio Taylor II began on Monday in Hall County Superior Court.
The 22-year-old was found guilty of killing 42-year-old Charles Weaver at the Mitusubishi Dealership on Browns Bridge Road in December of 2012.
"We are appreciative of the verdict of the jury," said Hall County District Attorney Lee Darragh. "On behalf of the state, and on behalf of Mr. Weaver, who was unjustifiably murdered."
Taylor faced charges of malice murder, felony murder, armed robbery, theft by taking and possession of a weapon in the commission of a felony.
Weaver worked in the parts department at Carriage Mitsubishi. His body was found by another employee of the dealership.
Taylor remained on the run for a couple of days following the murder. He was traced to an apartment complex on Constitution Avenue in southeast Atlanta. He was arrested by Atlanta SWAT officers.
