The award, which goes to a non-lawyer, is presented each year by the Gainesville Northeastern Bar Association at its Law Day Luncheon.
Julius Hulsey, a Gainesville attorney, was presented with this year's A.R. Kenyon Award.
The keynote speaker for the luncheon was Elizabeth Poythress, director of the Georgia League of Women Voters.
