GAINESVILLE - Thirty supporters of The Guest House were on hand for a celebration last week, marking the first year at the group's new location on Oak Street.

The occasion was highlighted by a ribbon-cutting, hosted by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.

Guest House Director Dana Chapman along with Guest House staff members welcomed volunteers, former and present board members, the City Council, the Chamber Ambassadors and staff from Legacy Link.

Chapman said many in attendance had helped with moving the agency from its former location to the new building, which The Guest House is renting from Dr. Jeff Payne.

The Guest House is a private, nonprofit adult day health care center.
