RICHMOND, VA - The NASCAR Nationwide Series Toyota Care 250 at Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, VA is currently under a rain delay.

Showers moved in shortly after the conclusion of Nationwide Series qualifying earlier this afternoon, washing out NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying for Saturday night's race.

Track drying efforts are underway, with eight Air Titan track dryers working to get the track in race shape, along with other support vehicles.

MRN Radio reported that the track had been at 75% ready to race at one point, but additional rain moved in, pushing the start back.

When the race begins, Brian Scott and Dylan Kwasniewski will bring the field to green, with Ryan Blaney in third.

Dawsonville, GA's Chase Elliott, who is looking for his third straight series victory, rolling off in fourth with Trevor Bayne starting in fifth.

WDUN will have full coverage of the Toyota Care 250 on 102.9 FM and 550 AM.

MRN Radio will have an update from track side at 9:30 pm.
