GPD launching Junior Police Academy

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville Police Department is implementing a Junior Police Academy.<br /> <br /> The JPA is designed to provide young adults with basic information about law enforcement and police activities. The ultimate objective is to establish a positive relationship between the youth and law enforcement.<br /> <br /> It will be held Monday June 2-Friday June 6 from 8:30-4:3m. The registration deadline is May 16.<br /> <br /> Registration forms are available on-line at www.gainesville.org , in the front lobby of the police department or by calling Corporals Kevin Holbrook or Joe Britte at (770)-287-0893.<br />
