Tennis: Lady Trojans close 7-AAA season with win

CLEVELAND -- The North Hall girls tennis team closed out its regular season in style taking a 5-0 win over White County Tuesday in Region 7-AAA action.

The Lady Trojans (13-4, 6-1 Region 7-AAA) did not drop a set in the victory.

Natalie Oxley, Tricia Dial, and MaryClare Patterson all took wins in singles for North Hall. Hannah Gibson and Kaitlyn Smith won at No. 1 doubles and Kelsey McCray and McKay Higginbotham won at No. 2 doubles for the Lady Trojans.

Next up for Region 7-AAA teams will be the region tournament, which is scheduled to begin April 16 at Bobby Bailey Park in Flowery Branch.
