Rain washes out USCS Sprint Cars At Toccoa Speedway opener

TOCCOA - With weather forecasts calling for rain Friday and Saturday night, Toccoa Speedway in Toccoa, GA has announced that the season opening "Toccoa Tangle" has been cancelled.

The opener was to have featured the USCS Outlaw Thunder Sprint Cars, the USCS 600 Mini-Sprint cars, dirt Late Models and local stock car divisions. Forecasts are calling for a 100% chance of rain on Friday and 70% change on Saturday in Toccoa, leading to the cancellations.

No rescheduled dates have been announced at this time.

Toccoa Speedway's season opener has now been pushed back to Saturday, April 5.

The USCS Sprint Cars will return to action on Friday, April 11 at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, NC and Saturday, April 12 at Lancaster Motor Speedway in Lancaster, SC.
