The expansion plans by Bainbridge Manufacturing LLC in Decatur County are expected to create 100 jobs in the first year, with a total of 240 jobs over the next decade.
The company is expected to add an additional 1.6 million square feet to an existing 180,000-square-foot facility in Decatur County, about 60 miles southwest of Albany. Officials say the headquarters will become the primary manufacturing center for the company. The company also plans to establish a research and development center at the southwest Georgia facility.
Bainbridge Manufacturing LLC supplies major automotive manufacturers such as Nissan, Toyota, Fiat, GM, CAT and John Deere.
