The effort will take place at McEver Road United Methodist Church in Oakwood on Sunday, March 30, from 2-6 p.m.
The church will host volunteers of all ages from Antioch, Chicopee, Dunagan's Chapel, Gainesville First, Midway, New Holland, New Hope, Pleasant Hill, St. Paul-Summit Street, and St. Paul-Washington Street.
"Working together, we can do this in just a few hours," said Rob Bruce, past of McEver Road UMC. Appearing on WDUN's Afternoon News Wrap Tuesday, Bruce said that there is no room for any more volunteers.
The project is being coordinated by Stop Hunger Now, an organization based in Raleigh, N.C., that is dedicated to alleviating hunger throughout the world.
