Max Ford earned the win fanning 11 and yielding just one hit in a complete-game effort. Ford also smacked a three-run home run to highlight a seven-run third inning when the Dragons (13-3, 7-0 Region 8-AA) blew the game open.
Jake Franklin hit a solo home run in the second to give Jefferson the lead. The Dragons led 8-0 after the third and invoked the Mercy Rule with two runs in the sixth.
Franklin and Alex Gaba each had two hits for Jefferson. Gaba added three RBI for the Dragons.
Alden Wright had the only hit for the Wildcats. Rabun County's Jesse Rentz went the distance allowing eight hits and six walks while striking out six. Only six of the 10 runs were earned.
Jefferson will take a week off before next traveling to Riverside Military Academy next Tuesday.
