Forsyth plans electronics recycling event

CUMMING - Forsyth County residents will have the opportunity to recycle their old, unused electronics during the upcoming electronics recycling event hosted by Keep Forsyth County Beautiful (KFCB). <br /> <br /> It will be held on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cumming <br /> Fairgrounds' parking lot 3 off of Castleberry Road. <br /> <br /> Accepted items for recycling include laptops, stereos, CD players, cell phones, <br /> microwaves, cameras and more. The minimum donation per carload drop-off is $5 while an additional $20 fee will apply for each television. <br /> <br /> Some items, such as large wooden console televisions, projector televisions, toaster ovens and refrigerators, will not be accepted. <br /> <br /> For a complete list of acceptable and non-acceptable items, visit www.forsythco.com or call KFCB at 770.205.4573. <br />
