Baseball: West Hall keeps rolling, routs Banks

HOMER -- Will Simmons struck out 13 and allowed just two runs in leading West Hall to a 12-2, six-inning win over Banks County Friday in Region 7-AAA action.

Simmons (2-0) also helped himself at the plate with three hits.

The Spartans (8-3, 4-2 Region 7-AAA) played long ball at the plate.

Cam Johnson belted his fifth home run of the season and Zack Collins had two hits, including a home run. Cam Warner also had three hits for West Hall.

The Spartans next will play host to East Hall on Monday.
