Jackson EMC recognized as a J.D. Power 2014 Customer Champion

JEFFERSON - Jackson Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) has been recognized as a 2014 Customer Champion - one of 50 companies to earn the distinction this year.

To qualify for inclusion on this elite list, companies must excel, not only within their own industry, but also among the nine industries included in the Customer Champions analysis by J.D. Power. To determine the J.D. Power 2014 Customer Champions, J.D. Power examined five factors, including: People, Presentation, Process, Product, and Price and for this year's competition evaluated more than 600 brands.

"We are honored to receive this distinction and be included in this elite group of U.S. companies," Jackson EMC President/CEO Randall Pugh said. "We have always known that we are committed to our customers and serve them to the best of our ability, and we appreciate this external confirmation from J.D. Power on behalf of our customers."

Jackson EMC serves more than 212,000 meters and 199,600 individual account in portions of 10 northeast Georgia counties.
