The event will be held at 6:30 Saturday, March 1 at the Clarkesville Event Center (Clarkesville Mill). Admission is $30/pp and includes a New Orleans-style dinner, a live DJ, dancing, a cash bar, silent auction, crowning of the King and Queen, a Photo Booth and party favors.
All monies raised from this event will go toward the Clarkesville Façade Grant Program.
The Facade Grant Program makes funds available for façade improvements in downtown Clarkesville.
Commercial property owners or commercial tenants may receive reimbursement of up to 50 percent (not to exceed $2,500) of the cost of an approved façade renovation.
Since 2010, thirteen downtown businesses have received financial assistance through this grant, including:

Ther goal is to raise $10,000 from the Mardi Gras event as well as private donations. Private sponsors of the Facade Grant receive publicity perks and recognition for each completed project.
