20-year-old Chelsea Garrish of Dawsonville died last fall when the driver of pickup crashed head-on into her SUV on Browns Bridge Road just west of Gainesville.
Shortly before the crash, other motorists had called 911 to complain of the pickup driver's aggressive driving and described to operators the crash that took Garrish's life as well as that of the pickup driver.
State Rep. Kevin Tanner of Dawsonville says his bill - titled "Chelsea's Law" - would make aggressive driving one of the offenses for the crime of serious injury by vehicle.
