Lawyer disputes details surrounding NW Ga.'s death

EUHARLEE, Ga. (AP) -- Relatives of a teen who was fatally shot by a police officer last week say he was holding a Nintendo Wii controller - not a gun - when police came to the door.<br /> <br /> Georgia Bureau of Investigation officials have said Euharlee police were serving probation violation warrants Friday when a 17-year old Christopher Roupe answered the door.<br /> <br /> Officials have said the teen was armed when he opened the door but the family's attorney, Cole Law, tells WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/1e8McGY ) Roupe was about to watch a movie and was holding the video game controller when he answered the door.<br /> <br /> The officer who was involved has been placed on administrative leave.
