Traffic signal at new Gainesville shopping center to be activated Thurs.

GAINESVILLE - The Georgia Department of Transportation says a new traffic signal is scheduled to be operational Thursday at the site of anew east Gainesville shopping center.

The signal is flashing now at the intersection of State Route 11/Limestone Parkway and new Kroger entrance. State DOT officials say if weather permits and testing goes well, the signal will be operational mid-morning Thursday, February 20.
