Girls basketball: Buford completes perfect 7-AAA regular season

GAINESVILLE -- The Buford girls completed a perfect Region 7-AAA regular season after thrashing North Hall 56-29 Friday night.

The Lady Wolves (23-2, 14-0 Region 7-AAA) opened the game with a 16-4 first quarter and then cruised the rest of the way. North Hall (16-8, 8-5) managed to keep the game close trailing just 38-35 heading into the fourth quarter.

But Buford blew the game open with an 18-4 fourth quarter.

Camille Anderson and Bree Horrocks each scored 10 points to lead Buford.
