Centennial ES is 1st place winner in district reading bowl

GAINESVILLE - Centennial Elementary School took First Place in the District competition of the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl last month and then placed first in regional competition this past weekend.

The next round of competition (Divisional) will be at Lovinggood Middle School in Powder Springs February 22. Eleven other teams remain in contention for the State title.

Centennial team members are:

Eli Parrish

They are coached by Kathy Anglin (Media Specialist at the school). Assistant coaches are Kelly Kennedy and Dallas Thompson.
