Boys basketball: Indians rally in OT to beat Lakeview

DAHLONEGA -- Jack Howard and Evan Bafile each hit 3-pointers to in overtime to help Lumpkin County rally for a 69-65 win over Lakeview Academy Saturday night.

The Indians trailed the entire game until the fourth quarter. Lakeview Academy led 16-11 after the first quarter and 31-22 at halftime.

The Indians trailed 50-41 going into the fourth quarter but outscored Lakeview 19-10 to force overtime. The Indians held Lakeview to just five points in overtime to get the win.

Howard finished with 15 points to lead Lumpkin County. Daniel Mccrary added 12 points and Austin Holman 10 for the Indians.

Trey Gober paced Lakeview with 15 points and Kirk Schneider had 12 points.
