GHS students earn Microsoft certifications

GAINESVILLE - Thirty-four Gainesville High School students have demonstrated they have the skills needed to proficiently use Microsoft programs by earning a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certificate. <br /> <br /> Through mastering the course standards in the Business program classes first semester, students earned an industry credential from Microsoft as proof of their knowledge and skills. The certification notifies prospective employers that our students are prepared to make immediate contributions in the workplace. Gainesville High School is an approved testing center which enables our students the opportunity to test on campus to earn their certification.<br /> <br /> While many of students earned an industry credential in more than one area, one student - Kimberly Smith - earned six certifications including two Expert level certifications to become recognized from Microsoft as a Microsoft Office Master.
