Girls basketball: Big 2nd half propels North Forsyth past Alpharetta

COAL MOUNTAIN -- Lochlain Corliss poured in 22 points to lead North Forsyth to a 67-41 win over Alpharetta Tuesday night in Region 6-AAAAAA girls basketball action.<br /> <br /> The Lady Raiders (7-0, 3-0 Region 6-AAAAA) led just 13-12 after the first quarter and took a 25-20 into halftime. They blew things open in the third quarter.<br /> <br /> North Forsyth began the second half with an 11-0 run and Alpharetta never got closer than seven points the rest of the way. The Lady Raiders used a 22-6 run in the second half to lead 60-38 to put the game away.<br /> <br /> Caroline Bowns added 16 points, six rebounds, and five assists for North Forsyth.<br /> <br />
