Boys basketball: Knights rout Stephens Co. in 8-AAAA opener

OAKWOOD -- Johnson opened its Region 8-AAAA schedule in style routing Stephens County 84-41 Friday night at the Johnson gym.<br />

Ty Cockfield paced the Knights (6-0, 1-0 Region 8-AAAA) with 25 points, three assists, and four rebounds. Rodrick English added 19 points, five steals, and four rebounds for Johnson.<br />
<br />
Tay Jones led Stephens County (0-3, 0-1) with nine points.
