Girls basketball: Lady Spartans beat Greene Co. in OT

GREENSBORO -- The West Hall girls basketball team outscored Greene County 8-4 in overtime to pull out a 61-57 win Tuesday night in its season opener.<br /> <br /> The Lady Spartans (1-0) battled back from an early 21-5 first quarter deficit to climb within 28-19 by halftime. West Hall outscored the Lady Tigers 34-25 in the second half to force overtime.<br /> <br /> Maegan Kelling paced West Hall with 22 points. Mackenzie Satterfield had 11 points for the Lady Spartans.<br /> <br /> West Hall next will play host to Jackson County on Friday.
