COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Shacobia Barbee scored 14 points to lead a balanced attack that gave Andy Landers his 850th victory with the Bulldogs on Saturday, a 74-51 win over Tennessee Tech, which is Landers' alma mater.<br />

Merritt Hempe added 12 points, Krista Donald 11 and Tiaria Griffin 10 for the Bulldogs (7-0).<br />

Landers, in his 36th season at Georgia, joins Pat Summitt (Tennessee), Jim Boeheim (Syracuse), Mike Krzyzewski (Duke), Geno Auriemma (Connecticut), Dean Smith (North Carolina) and Adolph Rupp (Kentucky) in reaching 850 wins at one Division I school.<br />

The Bulldogs led 31-25 at halftime and steadily pulled away. They hit 26 of 39 free throws and forced 24 turnovers. Three different players had six rebounds as Georgia had a 38-32 advantage on the boards.<br />
<br />
The Golden Eagles (1-4), who shot 39 percent from the field, got 14 points and 8 rebounds from Samaria Howard and 12 points from Mariah Dean.
