Girls basketball: Lady Falcons explode for big win over Jefferson

JEFFERSON -- Flowery Branch outscored Jefferson 50-20 in the second and third quarters to rally for a 68-49 win Tuesday in the Tabo's Tip-Off Tournament at Jefferson High School.<br />

The Lady falcons (2-0) will play Collins Hill on Saturday in the championship game.<br />
<br />
Flowery branch trailed 14-8 after the first quarter exploded for 26 second quarter points to grab a 34-22 halftime lead. the Lady falcons pushed their lead to 58-34 heading into the fourth quarter after outscoring the Lady Dragons 24-12 in the third quarter.<br />
<br />
Lexie Sengkhammee paced Flowery Branch with 24 points, including four 3-pointers. Breanna Locke added 23 points for the Lady Falcons.
