Hall courthouse fixture for 50+ year dies

GAINESVILLE - A man who was a fixture at the Hall County Courthouse for more than 50 years, Paul Tweedell, has died.<br /> <br /> Tweedell died Monday at Gateway Health and Rehab Center following an extended illness. He was 85.<br /> <br /> He spent 33 years in the Hall County Clerk of Courts Office before retiring and then another 20 years as a bailiff for Superior Court Judges J.D. Smith and C. Andrew Fuller.<br /> <br /> The funeral will be Friday at 11:00 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.<br /> <br /> (A full obituary can be found on the AccessNorthGa.com Obituaries Page.)
