JOHNS CREEK, Ga. (AP) City officials are cracking down on massage parlors in the Atlanta suburb of Johns Creek.

City inspectors say they cited at least five businesses for various violations.

The city recently passed a new city ordinance regulating the businesses. City officials say the ones cited didn't fix problems pointed out by code enforcement officers.

City Manager Warren Hutmacher tells WSB-TV that inspectors found various violations, including spas with tinted windows and blinds, inadequate records of employees and visitors, and some that failed to post warnings about human trafficking.

He said it's now up to a judge to decide whether to fine the establishments up to $1,000 per violation.
