Toccoa Clinic's Crocker honored by NGTC

TOCCOA - Ricky D. Crocker is the recipient of the Career Achievement Award from the North Georgia Technical College Alumni Association.<br /> <br /> Crocker is the network director at Toccoa Clinic where he has been employed since 2000. He was nominated by the clinic's practice administrator David Cronic.<br /> <br /> "Ricky successfully guided us through its IT development and enabled us to excel to deliver the highest quality of healthcare services in our market. Much of what we have been able to accomplish is directly due to the sophistication of the IT network designed and developed by Ricky," Cronic wrote in the nomination. <br /> <br /> "Early in his career, he accepted the daunting challenge of creating a network of IT services to embrace rapidly changing technologies and tirelessly led efforts to train, support and guide our employees," he added.<br /> <br /> Crocker graduated from North Georgia Technical College in 1996. He and his family live in Toccoa.<br /> <br /> The award was one of three presented at North Georgia Technical College's Homecoming weekend the third Saturday in October.
