Police arrest ex-boyfriend of burned Ga. woman

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) Authorities say they have arrested the ex-boyfriend of a 24-year-old woman whose burned body was found in a car at an Athens quarry. <br /> <br /> The Athens Banner-Herald reports Rodricus Deuntae Ward was jailed Friday after investigators questioned him about the death of 24-year-old Darla Gibbons of Atlanta, whose death was discovered Wednesday. <br /> <br /> Agent Mike Ayers of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation would not say whether Ward would be charged with Gibbons' death. He was booked early Friday on a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. <br />
