Gainesville man charged with growing marijuana in home

GAINESVILLE - A drug bust at a house in Gainesville Thursday netted drug agents about $12,000 worth of marijuana, according to Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad Lt. Scott Ware.<br /> <br /> "Investigators with the Hall County Sheriff's Office located six growing marijuana plants during the course of an investigation at 698 Hillcrest Avenue," said Ware.<br /> <br /> When the investigators saw the plants, that's when they called drug agents to the scene. Ware said further search led officers to less than an ounce of processed marijuana.<br /> <br /> Sergio Bernadac, 19, was charged with manufacturing marijuana, as well as misdemeanor possession of marijuana, according to Ware. <br /> <br /> He said no other arrests are anticipated in the case.<br />
