Strong storms possible Tuesday

PEACHTREE CITY - Strong storms are possible in north Georgia and other parts of the state Tuesday.<br />

The National Weather Service (NWS) says a squall line will begin moving across the state about 4:00 a.m. along the length of the Alabama border. By 8:00 a.m., it is expected to be moving through the metro Atlanta area and other parts of north Georgia and should move through the Athens and Macon areas by about 10:00.<br />
<br />
Forecasters say the "primary threats" from are damaging winds of up to 60 mph, very heavy rain (1-3 inches) and flash flooding, and "isolated brief" tornadoes.<br />
