Region's EMS program director retires

After 16.5 years, Region 2 EMS Program Director Earl McGrotha has retired.<br /> <br /> McGrotha was recognized by the Region 2 EMS Advisory Council during its recent meeting in Union County.<br /> <br /> McGrotha was presented with a shadow box representing each agency in the 13 counties he served.<br /> <br /> Those counties include Banks, Dawson, Forsyth, Franklin, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White.<br /> <br /> The presentation was made by Dr. David Westfall, District 2 Public Health director, and Jack Moody of Habersham EMS, chairman of the Region 2 EMS Advisory Council.
