Commerce falls for first time in region play, 48-27 at Prince Ave.

BOGART -- Commerce could not stop Prince Avenue's rushing attack on Friday, as the Wolverines pulled away for a 48-27 victory in Bogart.<br />

The Tigers (4-2, 3-1 Region 8-A) fell behind 21-7 at the half and never caught up, as Jonah Doster pounded his way to 129 yards rushing for Prince Avenue, which rolled up 404 yards of offense to Commerce's 308.<br />
<br />
Grant Mayberry rushed for 88 yards on 11 carries to pace the Tigers, while Will Thomas added 70 yards on eight carries.<br />
<br />
Commerce will take a bye next week before traveling to Providence Christian on Oct. 17.
